Decat problems

I've just recived my car and found out that the car has a branch manifold already fitted, and I've already ordered the wrong decat the one that fits the original manifold. Have any of you guys cut the decat to fit the Branch mani, and what were the results in power? will that decat have the same bore as the right decat?

The standard 172 manifold is a 4-1 aka 4 branch manifold, what decat did you get?

I've ordered the straight through decat from ktec to fit the standard mani.

Sorry, I might have missed what the problem was, let me clear it up.

This should be the decat for your otherwise standard exhaust, are you having trouble fitting it or is it the wrong one?

I have'nt recived it yet, but I know it's the wrong one because of the fact that the car has a 4-2-1 mani so the decat I need is the shorter one, I was just asking has anyone cut there decat to make it fit and what were the results

if you have ordered 172 decat and you have a 182 manifold on there then your better off just sending the decat back to where you bought it and swopping it over!! what did the cat look like that came off the car? any pics
