decat umming and arring

Hi got some spare cash and again thinking of this is there any benefit or not

Option was the ktec straight through decat how bad is the noise and is there any power gain or a loss

Any help from people who have the decat on the car and can post honest opinion thanks

My honest opinion on decats is that they do bugger all other than increase the noise level . There was definitely no change power loss or gain on my 182 .

I bought a Yozzasport decat and haven't fitted it. Comments on here and me not really wanting to change it come mot time meant it's not on.

Doesn't a decat create a flat spot? So I've read anyway

On your average n/a engine it's not going to make much if any difference. Forced induction is another story!

Not any real power gains from a decat..maybe 5 bhp. Mine did seem to make the engine Rev easier. Only problem I found was changing it for a cat come MOT time.
