Decat - worth it on a mk1 1.4?

I mean I can understand it on all your 182s and 172s and williams etc making a bita difference but is it really worth it on a mk1 1.4?

Anyone with a similar car given it a go? Worth it?

iv got a RT and had it decatted last week, mainly because the old one fell off lol. It just seems louder now with a little less lag when you put your foot down.

sounds nice and only cost me £20 so i would say its worth it.

No.

Gives you like 1bhp if your lucky and theres always a chance that VOSA will decide to roadside check your car. Not really worth getting your hands dirty, the risk of a fine, or the performance.
