Decision Between 2 TV's

  Meg 230 R26 F1
hi, i really can't decide between two LG lcd tv's

1. 32LG6000 (the tv with the red hole) 720p http://www.ebuyer.com/product/144310/show_product_reviews

2. 32LG5700 full hd 1080p http://www.beyondtelevision.co.uk/tvs/lg-32lg5700-hd-ready-television-with-intergrated-freeview.html

how important do you think it is that i get the one with the full hd, or should i just go for the one that looks better? i only have an xbox 360, no blu-ray or hd dvd player.

any alternative/better tv options also welcome if you have any, for around £400 - £500

cheers for any help

I bought a 32LG3000 3 weeks ago - http://www.flattelly.co.uk/shop/32lg3000-digital-ready-p-2128.html

Quite an impressive tv for it's size and for picture quality for under £400, the only negative I have for it is the speakers are crap, if your going to want decent sound.. They ain't the best for it and I suspect the other models in the same range won't be any better. Might need an external source like an amp or surround for that.

But it's 1080p HD so handles the consoles and Blu-ray very well.

i have the 37lg6000 and its great but you only want the 32 so lose the 1080p but on a 32 thats not important at all unless you sit very very very close too it
you sure you cant get a 37 ;)

would like the 37, but i can't find that anywhere under £550...so the £150 saving by getting the 32 would go towards cinema surround sound.

as for the samsung one mentioned above, do you mind me asking how much it was as it doenst say on that link?

it will take £150 off the end price though...i only have a small room so it doesnt have to be that fancy a cinema kit, just better than the speakers on the tv.

the built in speakers arnt that bad on the 6000 better than samsung ones lol

but not a patch on a nice home cinema setup
but there are a few places doing the 37lg6000 for around your budget

i would like to buy the 37lg6000, but i discounted it from my original list because i cant find it cheap enough, in stock...feel free to direct me in the direction of one though, thanks

I paid 600 notes at comet. A Little over budget for me as well as what you want to pay but I took out the buy now pay later. It can be had for 560 on some sites.

I would personally save up longer and go for a 1080hd.

Also remember than John Lewis do a price match, and offer a free 5 year guarantee and delivery.
