Declaring mods

On average how much do mods make your insurance go up by?
Looking at getting an itg maxogen panal filter and also lowering the car, just one springs mind. Any ideas??

what insurer are you with? CIS nothing, someone like tesco prob bout 200 quid lol

springs, wheels, zorst, filter and "external cosmetic changes" cost me £92 with elephant.

Just added a exhuast, induction kit and front spoiler to my policy and it cost me £180! 50 quid was for the front splitter!

on my fiesta I had:

suspension
wheels
brakes
body kit {front, rear sides and arches}
spoiler
bonnet
removed rear interior
filter
lights: front, back and side repeaters
mirrors

+ more but thats off top of my head!

cost me £200 extra ALL declared!
endsleigh insurance, I was 20 at the time!

Going to greenlight with it when the transplant and other upgrades are complete as they quoted lowest!
 
just done a quote on direct line o ncb aged 21 1/2 3 years driving, no clames/accdents fully comp came to £1200 well cheap.

Thats not cheap mate, at 18 with no driving experience I paid £1466 with tesco fully comp. Just done a quote with directline, tesco and norwich union will be 19 and have 1 ncd and they were all just over £900, I'm not at all pleased with that quote because I might not be able to afford to insure my mods :(
