need some help deciding which one to get: premier DEH-P860MP or panasonic cq-8401u...? better value? quality? opinions? any input would be great..thanks

Pioneer is much better I have owned Pioneers for over 10 years and never had any problems (apart from a broken button) I recently bought a mp77 and the quality is AMAZING - many on here will say Alpine aswell Dont think you can go wrong with either Pioneer or Alpine

the DEH-P860MP is a Premier unit... the DEH-P8600MP carries the Pioneer badge and is more expensive. Basically the same unit, but i think the premier units are defective units from the production line which have been repaired.

Pioneer over panasonic any day for me.... cant fault pioneer from all the units ive had, and ive had a few!

any suggestions on speakers? i have a 99 civic and need something that can handle the power of 4x60 but still sound crisp. and without spending TOO much. i just want good clean quility sound that can handle the volume and power..

how much would you spend.. 4 * 60w? is this from an external amp because you wont get that from the head unit, more like 4 * 15rms realistically.
