Dehandling rear doors on mk1

What filler would i use and how do i get the door handle off??? Wanna do this myself and then get someone to spray it 4 me

U will need to remove the handle and weld a plate in there then fiberglass and a skim of filler. if u just fill it with filler it will prob just crack mate.

oh yeh. what kind of metal wud it need to be? and thin or thick? my brother cud weld it but wud it burn all the paint off???
