Which do you own?
I have an Acer Aspire laptop. Dont think I could be on with going back to ye old desktop PC now. Much too accustomed to this :)

I use both, desktop most of the time but you cant sit on the bog and look at p**n with a tower case and 2 tft monitors. I find the laptop handy as well if the fun police is watching corrie or some such shite.

desktop. get more for your money and im not a big fan of the laptop touchpads

Try one on powerbook or macbook pro (macbooks might have it too). The two fingered scrolling is brilliant :) Everytime I use a PC laptop I sit there for ages wondering why it doesn't work!

I have a desktop which is mainly for gaming, a laptop for surfing around the house, and a PDA for when I don't wanna boot the Lappy up...

Must get out more.

both, but a desktop is far superior and as said above easier to upgrade/fix..cheaper to buy and upgrade, and generally have better specs. laptop is very handy though, but i hardly use mine.

I have 2 laptops. Doesnt use much space up, I can take it with me, like to a mates house, to a clients. I can play games, browse the net whatever I want. :)

I have the worst of both worlds! A lapto with a broken screen so its hooked up to an old CRT monitor and got a proper keyboard and mouse now as well!!

I have both and rarely use the Laptop. It is less powerful for the money and not as comfortable to use.

ive got both but with wireless internet its a touch to be able to sit outside in the sun and look on internet, also found when doing work to the car or summit or building bikes you can find relevant help on internet so take the laptop with me!
plus the pc is a bit old now and needs a kick up the ass!!

4 PC's, 4 Laptops. ;)

Much prefer a desktop though, although laptops can be handy for Garage/Garden for streaming music etc.

For space reasons:

Shuttle Desktop PC + 17" TFT

I'd like a laptop as well but don't think i'd use it enough.

I've got a desktop for games and a PC laptop for surfing on the couch and a mac powerbook for a whatever take my fancy.

Kick ass compaq laptop, quality spec on it, I run all sorts of design stuff on it and it never fails. Love it. Also have a media centre PC downstairs under the tv which is also great.
