desperate help with alloy

my CV joint split so the grease inside is all over the wheal and am having trouble removing it all. any advice??

soak it with some degreaser then hit it with some meguires wheel brightner...mix it strong maybe 1:4 and scrub away!

Is stronger then APC! lol

Wipe it off with a cotton cloth, jobs a gooden. The follow up with some degreaser if need be.

i have the same problem. CV grease all over the inner wheel and i have ruined 3 sponges!! Doesn't come off well what so ever.

Rich . Will you be told , All purpose cleaner , lol . I used AG engine and machine cleaner when my cv boot split . Shifted the grease no problem

had this on mine when i got it. found that some cleaner stuff they use at tyre places to remove dirt (when they are sticking the balance weights on) works very well. just be prepared to make a mess

is it like a black greeny type thick s**t?? iv had it all over the inside of one of my alloys and didnt no what the hell it was. just blasted the lumps off with the karacher and seein as im refurbin em the rest has been sanded off.

I just dont think that much of it tbh. especially for quite thick grease.

I was only joshing mate ignore me! It is pretty good though for oil and grease, that is what it's designed for after all!
