lol what were you doing on dw if you think he's a geek its a deatiling enthusiast's forum
they are all detailing geeks really. i do think its a great site and some of the write ups are good.
i think he has to much spare time because its his real job.

there are places shown in these pics that i wouldnt even think of cleaning.

its two days worth of cleaning!

it does look brand new after, but its only a year old anyway

  Turbos.
I just think of all the hobbies you could have, its hard for me to see why someone would want to spend that time washing a car.

No doubt a good job, but that is a pig ugly car! How much money does it cost to get a car cleaned like that?

Looks like he's done an awesome job of it! I wouldn't say it's over the top, if a customer is paying you to detail a car you detail what they're paying for! If it was a favour i would never give it that much time!

Feel sorry for the neighbour as it looks like a shared drive, seen quite a few of his threads on DW , and i'd be pis-ed off with someone running a little buisness on the drive next door to me all day long, but hes good at what he does i'll give him that.

I like how he was doing it on a friday night when it was dark.

Sounds like a popular fellow.

I'm not on DW, I was sent the link by a member on there for my comments. lol.

There are some reeet brilliant chap's on there who have the detailing art down to a tee. I just havent got the time or motivation to get on with it. I spend maybe an hour or two tops, and dont go into any of the detail these guys do.

Thats the extent of my work. No gadgets, no paint layer guides, just a bit of a wash and elbow grease (not literally) :

your all slagging him off but he probably earned a fortune doing that

Really?? I dont think so.

Whats the most you would be willing to pay someone to clean your car?

for the amount of work he put into that i reckon he got at least£200 pound. he diddn't just clean the car either, he corrected all the paintwork and detailed every last bit of the car (even the key FFS lol). for3 days work i reckon he did get quiet a bit..

whatever floats your boat anyway, he might just do it as a hobby or something

I do a bit of detailing but just on the side for mates etc. Pros like this guy will charge around £25-£30 an hour so at 10 hours a day for a 3 day job you're looking at abou £800. Obviously costs have to come out of that too.

Brown.

Clio sporters take note......any one else who thinks they are gonna put up 'just detailed' threads......if it dont top this, then dont post....and make cliosort a better place ;)

this is the guys job and it would be 500+ most of the cars detailed on that site are specialist vehicles so the guys have that kind of cash to spend on there car.
if someone offered you that kinda cash am sure you would give up your w/end.
