diagnostic software???

i have a clio 172 which is running a little rough and wont tick over happily and now after a few months like this the engine light has come on (im guessing connected) the car has been sat for a few months but has been run atleast once a week,ive brought an obd ll cable but dont have any sortware does anyone know of any good software that could actually tell me whats wrong or does anyone have any ideas? cheers for any help

oh forgot to say ive replaced the spark plugs and its always been run on v-power

You need to have the car plugged into a clip system to diagnose properly.

Alternatively you can buy an RS Tuner (google it) but this isn't as comprehensive as the clip system.

If you're up north mate, i'll plug it into my CLIP for you at a fraction of a dealers cost
