diagnostics tests

how much does it cost or is it usually free for a renault dealer to hook your car up to do a diagnostics tests and ive got a couple of eletrical faults i believe!

the test itself should be free of charge, anything that needs doing you'll have to pay for obviously.

wot sort of electrical faults m8? desribe may able help you out a diagnostics test shud be free at most place but renault or garage associated with them is your best bet

as above, it wont be free. Hours labour is about right. Get down to k-tec near bournemouth or rentec near portsmouth

airbag light and serv light is on, no clue why :S original seats etc passenger airbag is deff on etc, and the cabin temp always reads in the 40's/50's :S and i beleive the radiator fan isnt working as when the car is left running for a long period of the time the stop and enigne light will come on and the engine temp will rise high when sat still and fan wont kick in even if the cars turned off

Wiring under the seats needs connected properly

chocolate block and electrical tape and 20 minutes of your time and your laughing....

I am drunk lol corona and peroni ftw lol , but my labour i got the diagonstics for free but they charged me for the parts and fitting so may of bumped that up to compensate, thinking bout it.

get a u581 dtc reader off ebay for about £65 will turn most lights off.

Anyway, Renault will not do anything for nothing without charging atleast an hours labour, its always been that way. |bullshit i know but it would be Reno if they didnt.

There is lime but not to much left now . An you are right i retract my earlier statement, cos i have just got me receipts and everytin out reno for the lab part of the invoice which was a clip test and labour to replace part (accelerator pedal sensor) was 105 quid.

Nope i don't mind they fixed it, another garage where me m8 worked did everytin for free but never really fixed it perminately. Plus charges for services etc on the 182 will be a lot higher lol

Look under both seats m8, shud be apparent it the wires are lose or dodgy.

this is a guess but look in the fuse box see if any fuses related to it may have blown. If not take a closer look around the radiator, fan, thermostat etc, lose wires, connects etc

Air bag/ serv light will be the wiring under the passenger seat, may need a wiring repair.
The internal temp will be a faulty sensor, the sensor is a small nipple on the underside of the passengers door mirror, replace that and see how you get on.
Not a clue on the fan.

yateley, near reading/basingstoke way but ive been tempted to visit k-tec as its not too much of a drive, regular vistor of bournemouth anyway
