Just a quick question really. Can a diesel pass and mot with a de-cat on??
I was just wondering as I've heard that they don't test emissions on diesels like they do on petrols they just do it by the crap that comes out of the exhaust or something??
nope they still test diesels for emissions. I know cos i used to test them hehe. All that they do is use a different nozzle for the diesels and insted of keeping the engine at fast idle (2500 rpm) you rev the engine till about 4000 rpm and then let off the throttle. Then test done and the little piece of paper comes out the printer
