Difference bwteen sportcontact, and sportcontact3??

anyone know what the difference is? Seems the sportcontact is about £5-10 dearer per tyre

I have a similar query.

My 172 cup is on Premiumcontact 2, with a load rating of 84 (which I thought was stiffer and specced as standard)

Yet on the renaultsport forum this morning I noticed the recommended tyres for this car are Sportcontact 1's or 3's with a load rating of 80.

Anyone have an opinion on this?
