Weve all been here before, the question of lowering a cup. Ive had mine now for just over a year, done a trackday and it gets better every day I drive her.
Ive just forked out 300 snots for the bonnet to be resprayed because of large stone chips/flakes which Renault didnt want to know about, and now shes nice and tidy.
I dont want to do many mods, maybe a filter or ECU in the future. Id never change the wheels or anything like that BUT lwering is on my mind. It terrible having money burning away at your pocket!!
I have a mate with a mk1 172 and he says his is fantastic now its lowered, especially for track days, which is what I want to do more of...Ive got the bug.
So, anyone witha lowered cup out there? Im not bothered about how hard the ride will be cos thats the way I like it. Just wondered about rubbing, tracking problems, tyre wear etc...
