Disarming interior sensors

  BMW F31
ok i have done a search and seen edde's thread about disarming by turning the ignition on then off then on then off, get out and lock, 3 beeps, all done.

the problem is mine doest do this :(

i want to leave my windows open slightly but still leave the alarm active for the doors etc.

i do the ignition bit but when i get out and lock it it starts beeping loads because the window is open, anyone got any ideas how to turn the interior sensors off!?

its a mk2 ph1, 1999 plate and its a standard cobra alarm, well im pretty sure it is, it has the sensors and alarm light in all the right places :)

The Mk2 Ph1 has a different alarm, you cant do it on that one I'm afraid.

This is the only adjustment on yours, and guess where it is ? Under the pax airbag. !!!

oooooo woopeeee lol

so i cant leave my windows open to air it when its hot?

just go round and lock all the doors i guess?

getting to under the air bag isn't a problem as i have had the top dash off before sorting out my speakers etc, but what is your pic showing exactly (exact modification) ??

Thats the Ultrasonic unit control box, as you can see there is no car in the picture, but if it had been shot 5 min later, you would have noticed a dust bin. :(

i have a mk2 ph1 and it works (tiss a 172 tho if that makes a difference) do it all the time as i cant be arse to desensortise the sensors as they always set the alarm off.
