Display Error?!

Just playing on Ninja Gaiden 2 (excellent game if you haven't played it before) and whilst fighting the boss on chapter 7...I died on first attempt, and since then when I play there is a weird sort of luminscent hue over the game screen and some of the backgrounds in the menu screens also look weird. Tried turning the 360 off and on again, but same thing...anyone else experience anything like this before, either on NG2 or any other game? TRES annoying, can't really play the game now!!!

Right...seems to be affecting all games now! It is like lines down the display (red ones?!) and blacks don't seem to be showing...please help...living without the 360 would be a pain I could not bare lol!

Well, hats off to MS. Came back today (so think that was 8 days) nicely cleaned up, explanation of the fault, and an extra months Live membership. Fair enough I was initially upset it had broken, but with superb customer service like that I think if anything I have come away being even more of a Xbox zealot than I was before.

Best of all, the fault was due to the DVD drive, and still got all fixed and shipped 100% FOC
