Ditching the air-con

i know i need the cup setup but how much would this cost? also is there much difference in performance with out it?

Well by having the air con on your using like 2bhp i think... so isnt turning the air con off as good as removing it... apart from the little bit of extra weight :S

In this hot weather, I'm glad I've have aircon. Any performance/economy gains will be more than offset by having all the windows open trying to stay cool and arriving at your destination sweating like a wh0re on night shift!

there is a theory about having car windows open a certain amount can actually reduce drag thus increasing straight line speed, have a look at the touring cars on TV next time they're on, this theory all stems from that type of racing

You will never sell the car woithout aircon tbh, so aslong as you want to keep the car forever dont do it.
