Diy How Easy???

how easy is it to change and fit new shocks and springs to my 172?
changing brakes and fluid etc i can manage, but im wondering if shocks and springs is beyond a non-mechanic type person.

also, what tools am i likely to need?

and a few allen keys if u aint got a inpact wrench/gun

yeah tis easy peasy. youll need some spring compressers as well unless you fancy a spring taking your head off.

oh and remember how to put everything back together again as your taking it off!

you dont need spring compressors.. i lowered mine in a couple of hours, and didnt need them

really would prefer to do it myself
its a case of H&R or Eiback coilovers and fit myself,
or something cheaper like Gaz or Ultimate coilovers and have them fitted for me.

think if you are going for coilovers, you will need to get them professionally set up to get the best out of them
