Either way, I'm in a position to look for another 172/182 after I saw an old friend pick one up recently.

Owned a 172 in 2004 (KY03TXG, Flame Red) and then a 182 (KK04XLP, Artic Blue I think) that I loved and did 33k miles in a year! Wonder if it's still on the road?!

The club was a lot more social back then, with regular meets every week all over the country. I was area rep for South Central region and we had meets weekday evenings every few weeks. Pretty sure CocoPops used to come to the Reading / Maidenhead meets, but I may be mistaken. Also when you post out renewal packs for years you get to know peoples actual names and they stick all these years later.

I'm going to post some old videos for our 25th birthday in a couple of months and see if it can drag some more old members back

You definitely have a point there.

Got mine at the tail-end of 2004 and started going on meets up here. Even managed to get a few of us to meet up during dinner hour on occasion.

Did a number of meets with the v6.net lot as well. I think a number of factors contribute to people not meeting up as much these days. A shame really.
