Do u think they’ll let me test drive.....

Had a quick look round City Motors which is the main Renault Garage in Bristol and they have a 182 and a 172.

Do you think theyll let me test drive one if i act interested? Bearing in mind im 19.

i just turned 20, look about 17

think i may take trip 2 renault in colchester and test drive a 172 or 182 aswel

seeing as they were reluctant 2 help me when i went in there last, waste their time back and have some fun i think

Thats good then. Might take a trip up there on the weekend and blag that im thinking of getting rid of my 16v for a 172.

Tried that the other day. I got this garage thats just down the road from me to fit my decat. I asked for a drive but i had to be over 25. He did say hell take me out in one of there cars sometime though!

They let me drive a 182 all on my own at Burnley Kitchens garage,although they did know I had 172

I did. I was 17 and just acted interested in a 172. Managed to have a drive. Wernt very impressed really. Nice car though. Ended up with a cup a year later. They didnt even ask for my driving license and id only passed 2 weeks b4 i drove the 2.0 clio. Scared the guy with my ridiculous wheelspin out of every junction. Get it thrashed!!!!

I got a test drive of a brand new Cup no probs and it was right at the back of the compound. I just acted interested, dropped a few facts and stuff about Clios to show I know what Im talking about and said, any chance of taking it out?

Was in it 20 minutes later for a 15 minutes drive - with the guy of course.

Worst bit is getting to walk away. I wasnt serious about buying one, but I think he thought I was and twisted and twisted my arm but I took his card and politely declined the next day. I should have bought it though, always wanted a brand new sport Clio. Wont be able to afford a 182 and the Cup was my only chance. Never mind.

It just depends on what garage you go to. I went into one locally and the guy TOLD me i couldnt afford the insurance and led me towards a 1.2 Dynamique! I called a few other places and found one and they let me drive it (182).

Good luck and dont rip it too early or theyll make you go back to the dealers!

Went with my lass to the dealer and they let us take it for a test drive, think my bird scared the fuk out off the salesman LOL. He was o.k. and didnt push for a sale afterwards either, probably needed the toilet!!!
