do you polish every time you wash

Polish it once every 1/2 months, just because I enjoy doing it. When I say polish, I mean super resin polish on a light pad very quick once over the car, just to get rid of the sealent etc. Then re-seal and wax. Do the trim at the same time, and the wheels :)

Now using 3M. Polish/compound is cutting. Once polished properly you don't need to do it again.

A Glaze/(Non cut), Seal and LSP is all you need to maintain.

Glaze - Clearkote Red moose
Seal - CG blitz spray, done most washes. 15-20min job max.
Wax - Swissvax Glassir.

No you don't scott mate, only once you have polished as the paint work is "bare" and open to the elements.

You don't even need to wash your car tbh! lol

What you do is up to you post washin. i usually seal and thats it. once a month/2nd month i'll wax.
Twice a year i'll have the wheels off, and do them.

i like my car being clean just wudering the best way to do it thats all

Polish/de swirl once a year -> seal and wax, wheels off etc etc

Polish away waxes/sealents and re apply once every month/two months -> re-seal/wax

Wash every week using just snow foam usually, because the dirt jus' don't stick!

I think Scott is getting confused between a polish, wax and sealent.

I usually re-seal after a wash, and polish and wax every few months.

I spent 4.5 hours giving the car a nice clean on Saturday afternoon, it came out spanking (even if I do say so myself) I like doing it as the end result is good:cool: sadly for me though I rarely get time to do it:dapprove: So most of the time it's filthy.

The detailing guide on here is very good :D
