Dodgy Steering... after fitting coilovers



  H&R + Pole Position'd Cup
After fitting H&R's the steering has messed up.

When turning one-way (when nearly on full-lock) the steering goes really light and get's stuck and doesn't straighten up by itself. When turning the other way the steering is really tight and springs back if you let go of the wheel.

I know the trackings needs sorting as it's pulling to the right and twitching all over but wouldn't have thought this would affect the steering this way.

Anyone know whats up?

after fitting coilovers the whole geometry of the car will have changed massivly. so toe,camber and tracking will have changed massivly. get a full geo done as soon as you can and it should be sorted out

Are the top mounts all fitted correctly? Also how low is it set? If you've "slammed" it, it could just be catching badly.

Hmm standard top mounts so can't see how I could have got them wrong. Na it isn't really slammed. Must be around 50mm front and back at most.
