does colour clash ph2 seats in ph1

I got a cheap seat of ph2 172 seats available to me to put in a ph1. But wondering if anyone did this and do the colours clash with the original blues and grey of a standard ph1. Seems hard to find a good nick cheap ph1 172 seats

No the colour will not match - you can get Ph2 dash etc pretty cheap (since it's the same whether it's a 1.2 or V6). But if you have a Ph1 interior, colour matching shouldn't be on your priority of things to get anal about IMO!

I prefer the Ph2 seats personally as the handle to access the rear seats is on the outer shoulder and doesn't fall off like the Ph1 ones do.

Same as in a Mk1 Vee, because access to the back is important (good old Renault)
