1 guy, 1/2 Cup

Been 9 years since I had my 182FF and now back with a 172 Cup. Came with the classic Cliosport mods of Silvervisions and short front number plate.

Surprised to see it has aircon in it so don't know if this has been fitted afterwards or one of the few that had it specced from factory.

Was going to put the half leather interior in it but the original seats are in such good condition I don't think I'll bother. Plus maybe my imagination but think the Cup seats have a higher bolster...or I just put on weight since I last sat in one.

Jobs done so far is replacing the washer jet and few missing and broken clips. Can't seem to find the white clips for the scuttle panel so think they may be discontinued.

On the to do list is new struts for the boot, tidy up some bits and then treat it to some ceramic coating.

Still had an old RS tuner in the garage so plugged it in, seems like it's still got the standard map.

Unfortunately 3 errors keep popping up, nothing too bad though.

A/C refrigerant pressure sensor:
Hopefully just need to replace as got an unprecedented heat wave up here again so some ac would be appreciated.

Brake info fault:
Will adjust the brake pedal switch and see if it sorts it.

Shift light fault:
Will need to look into.

All small jobs done now and no more errors. Changed the air con pressure switch and had it regassed but still doesn't feel that cold, must know Cups should have air con!

PS3's were 8 years old so treated to a new set of tyres and down to Progrip for alignment. Handles so much better now.

Finally treated to some CQ UK, scrubs up well for its age. Feel the grill let's it down but undecided if I should spray it black or not.

Noticed a small puddle on drive and found the culprit. Looks like it's coming from passenger side driveshaft, doesn't smell like cat piss though so think it's engine oil. Easy fix?

If it’s passenger side and engine oil could it be dripping from rocker cover, the cam shaft caps or the rear main seal?

Prob gearbox oil given the area. The newer nfx doesnt smell of anything compared to the old nfj.

Soon see from above.

Possibly a drip from above?

Belts due in 6 months so prob just get it done early and get them to check the leak whilst in.
