Does your horn need to be on the steering column for MOT?

I.e the button.. Just wondered really, was hoping to relocate it and have an MOT coming up... Was thinking of a button net to the light leveller...

The check is that it must be readily accessible to the driver, I suppose it's down to the tester's own interpretation of that rule

it annoys me that the horn isnt in the centre of the steering wheel - plenty of times I have gone for it and its at the side of the wheel - valuable horn honkage missed out on there lol

change the stalk to a different one as it has the horn on the end as in D4VE's project thread

Good question this one, as the i have an aftermarket st/wheel in the vee that doesn't have a horn function.

I therefore have to keep changing back to the original wheel for its MOT.
