Dude, my only advise at the moment is get that engine flushed asap, and as above get in touch with ramair bout it as well. That is not nice!!!!!

make sure if ya engines knackered your covered they look liable to me mate thats just poor.

Has that happened under normal use? looks like its been crushed or something? Surpose if the mesh is aluminium then it does have a tendancy to get brittle?? :S

I think that photograph is from the inside of the filter. Good luck with giving some beatdown to RAMair and hope your engine is OK.

That's what I can't understand, I thought it was the front of the filter... hell knows. :rolleyes:

edit: Just took another look at it, I can see it's inside of the filter now. Damn that sucks.

could of been like that when you fitted it.

and surely you would of noticed the car running rough etc if it had done any damage.

i would of thought a chunk of metal that big would struggle getting past the valves.

but worth an investigation none the less!
