hi cleaning and painting calliper sand noticed this it looks like it's been bodged with a screw to hold in place any idea what it's for so I can buy a new one cheers in advance

Is it? Looks very similar to a xenon auto level sensor. I assumed the bias sensor would be a mechanical device.
