Door Cards

Now, I havea mk2 Phase 1 clio, and i want to put different door cards in. I've bein told dynamique ones fit, however there are 2 types of Dynamique Door cards.

Theres theses ones:

And then theres these ones.

Do both fit a 1999 clio as the 2nd ones look sexier!

top one is from ph1 and bottom is from ph2....

well someone said they do but then some say they dont because of how it meets with the different dash, not sure how true this is as i've never tried and cant remember for sure what the answer is.

if you look at the bit where it meets the dash in the pics above they look identical, evil john has 172 leather in his phase 1 so might be worth finding out if he has MK1 172 or MK2 172 doorcards in his.

you could always go for a full phase 2 dash which is a lot better looking and would match ur doorcards....

Im having a custom dash anyway, f**k the dials S oa dash would be a waste of time. I know the door cards will be tweaked, but they are a much better base to start with.

just need to know if they fit

he has mk1 172 iirc same as me

yes it does look the same but i've heard it wont work still.

you probably wouldnt have any problem selling them if they didnt fit anyway! but it looks to me like they would.

Well I'm having the seats and door cards re trimmed in white leather, and MArtin told me Dynamique interior is the same as the 172 but without the leather alcantara, but cheaper.

And if im ripping off the seat covers to get it re trimmed, might as well save money.

But if you can get me a Phase 1 172 interior, I'll bite your hand off, cause i cant get one for s**t!

well the ph2 door cards are the same as the sports ones without leather.

but the ph1's are nothing like that, they look like mine....

well yeah apart from martins are ph2's, different colour, different handles and different electric window/mirror switches....

your bottom half of the dash (the part the doorcard meets) looks identical to mine, shape wize.
