Door Handle Won't Re-attach

Hi all,

Probably me being stupid, but I took my door card off today, now in the process of refitting, but I cannot get the plastic door handle clip to clip in. It came off no problem when removing the door handle, but now re-attaching, I cannot get the plastic bit to clip in, doesn't help it's in a really awkward spot. Any tips?

Knew as soon as I posted I’d get it. Put a trim removal tool behind it to press against and got it in. Doesn’t really clip into place with a click, just needs some force.

I did try that, but then as soon as I put the metal bit in it pulled out, may not have got it clipped far enough in to be fair. Was trying to do the opposite of how I got it out.
Will try that way when I do the passenger side, thanks.
