door mirror indicator lights

Has anyone thought about or added wing mirror indicator lights to their 172?

I was thinking about it the other day as what would be the best aproach. Obviously a drill would be involved lol

What do you guys think?

Dad's got them on his Audi and it annoys him big time, always says it gets tight in the corner of your eye and distracts him, but to be fair he is new to the car so hasn't got used to it much

I wouldn't bother. Its making your car out to be something its not. It can be done by extra length of wire but I would use mirrors which alread have indicators in for ease of use (so long as they don't look dickish!)
