Door Panels in a MK2 PH1 Clio

hi all,

im wondering if anyone can help, i want to add electric windows and mirrors to my car, but i dont want to use those aftermarket jobbies, is it possible just to do a straight swap the door panels with one that has all the switches on it (obviously i need to install motors etc)

i just need to know if i can swap the door panels, e.g from my car mk2 ph1 to mk2 ph 2,

IIRC the Mk2 Ph2 door cards are a different shape to the Ph1's.

They dont fit becasue the dash is a different shape, you will need some mk2mph1 door cards with the switches and then the motors and probably a relay fitted somewhere.

I install electric windows and mirrors in my clio

You need:
2x Window motors
2x Door wires - with windows and mirrors plug
2x Door cards - mk2 ph1 with window & mirror swicths
And relay fitted to make the windows work.

i dunno bout the door cards tho mate... i'm not sure of the technicalities behind phases, but i got a mk2 phase 1,( early 01, y plate), and i got door cards off an 03 model in fine, 25 quid on ebay.
