door pins, can’t get the f*ckers off!!!

how do i get to the door pins as i need to change them for some chrome ones, they wont pull off or may be i wasnt pulling hard enough. A detailed description is prob needed as im a complete novice. Thanks

You dont pull em - think you need to take the door card off then get them off! Could be wrong tho.

Door pins, your talking about the pins in the hinges yes, and why would you want chrome ones!

Remove the door handle etc - remove the door card (watch for breaking clips and all that goo!) - carefully cut the old pin opening rod - attatch the new pin rod after carefully measuring to make sure it all works - wire up the pin if its one of those nice flashing ones - put the card back on (hope you didnt break any of those clips) - put handle etc back on - repeat with other door . . . .
