Double speed indicators.

I was driving home tonight from Colchester and about half way home I noticed that whenever i indicated right the lights were flashing twice the speed they normally do. The left ones are totaly fine as are the right ones when used as hazard warning lights, but on their own they are going mental.

Any suggestions as to what would suddenly cause this?

A bulb has gone. They flash double time due to the way they are wired up.
