Na, even more bends then! Ill probably remove it at some point but atm its just feeding air in the general direction of the airbox.

At least my car can breath properly now That + a new map with my RsTuner seem to be a good start, 'feels' better to drive now. 6500_5404.rst btw. Now running the same map as Gregg, was using the older 6400_2A07.rst. Back to fms next month probably to check things out.

My panel filter is 2years+, I have cleaned it but how well that worked I dont know. Maybe I should try that as a first port of call!

Took apart my airbox and.... my airfeed was partly blocked up.

Dan , with RSTuner you can also make a live data log. This problem would have showed up as a more than usual Inlet Manifold Pressure drop, > 30 mbar.

After the EA RR day today my car only made 163 bhp/151 torque :/ I have the following engine mods:

• 80mm ducting directy from foglight into standard airbox with a K&N Panel
• 2.5" stealth system
• de-cat
• Rs-Tuner GrpN remap

I am currently running fully synth 0w30 oil which will be changed ASAP, but I dont know why im so low on power considering Gregg who also ran a 172 ph2 has basicly the same mods minus the foglight feed and a different airbox but made 173.5bhp! SAY WHAT

Suggestions?

again that sounds like the cam timing is wrong. When they're wrong they seem to have quite a bit or torque in the midrange, but power peaks early and doesn't hold on well at higher RPM

decent torque figure, that must be the RStuner map at a guess! the 10bhp imo if other cars with same mods were running different mods would possibly be shabby inlets there is big gains to be had from matched inlets on some cars and not so big on others, didnt make too much difference on mine but then my standard 172 made 173bhp on a day others were making 160-170 odd
