DP0 automatic gearbox refurbish shops

Hi, I have a 2008 Kangoo 1.6 16v with DP0 auto gearbox that needs repair.
The symptom is that there is no lockup in any gears, once the car sees downhill and engine brake was used, up shift of the 2nd to 3rd and on only occurs when the rpm goes up to 3500rpm. It fixes itself, resets?, when the engine was turned off and on again.
There is no one here who can fix this gearbox around here and wonder if anyone has had any experience on having the auto gearbox refurbished, and any recommendations on which shop to buy the refurbished one.
Many thanks!

I am in Japan. Lots of folks just throw away old Kangoos and not very many DP0 that are salvageable left.
sure I did the oil change, but you can not change filter on this silly designed auto gearbox, unless you take it out of the car and nearly fully disassembled it.

Looks like you have 2 choices then. Scrap car or fully disassemble gearbox imo.

Yeah, I am opted for the latter at this time.
Thing is that there are literally no one or no shops that are capable of doing the rebuild of the DP0 gearbox here in this country.
I have actually contacted Stephen's engineering to have my gearbox rebuilt previously and was turned down for some reason.
So the option left to me is to buy rebuilt gearbox and swap it over with my shot one.
Any help is appreciated!

I suppose it’d be too expensive/risky importing one from another country?

Well if there are no other gearbox available anywhere else, one has to take the chance.
I saw Russian companies also offer DP0 rebuild job, but I speak no Russian, and UK gearbox rebuilders seem easier to deal with.
But to have a piece of mind, I would like the reputable gearbox specialist hence here I am to ask for someone's knowledge base for right path.
