I've recently picked up a P0120 code on my Clio. The car won't start and with the ignition on the throttle body is basically a switch, either fully closed or completely open at a certain point along the throttle pedals travel.
I've got the multimeter out and the white connector block is seeing voltage. I think the issue is a incoherence in voltage along the two tracks of the throttle, basically one reads consistently about twice as high in voltage as the other, and I think this is throwing an error condition on the ECU and causing the car not to start.
My question is what is likely to be causing this incoherence? I've checked the loom and all looks okay, will have another look but at this point I'm at a bit of a loss; I've heard the pedals themselves very rarely fail but for the sake of 30 quid I'm tempted to stick one on and see how it goes.
Any help or advice very much appreciated!
