Drivers side elec window motor

Hi guys im trying to replace my electric window motor there wasnt one in the door when i bought the car so i got one from a scrap yard the problem is i dont know how to fit it is there a step by step guide with picturs on how to connect the 2 wires which go from the window to the motor?

Hi mate done this twice, pretty easy tbh. When you say wires do you mean electrical wires as the power to the motor should be plug and play. If you mean the wires which do the pulling i'll try and dig out a photo. You able to post up a photo of what you've got to fit as sometimes the clips snap and fall off so would be useful to check.

Oh and upgrade to full member mate its well worth twelve notes.

I will take a pic and upload it tonight it's the metal wires I found the with the plug end for the electric it's just the wires that make the window go up and down

you then bolt the metal runner into the door, the motor has three screws which also bolt in. As in the picture there is a little knob (left end of the runner in the ebay pic) which goes through a hole in the window and as the knob moves up and down it does the same to the wind. Oh and theres a clip to hold the knob in the glass
