Driveshaft

Hi all

Looking at getting 2 new driveshafts for the race car, I can find a gkn shaft for the o/s but I can't find one for the n/s.

Any ideas, is that side for some reason a Renault only item?

Had a j&r shaft for a few months and still alive. Not idea if I would survive a trackday but it seems fine. £50 delivered.

My J&R shafts survived a day at Combe and I'm still alive and passed the MOT

Renault have now discontinued both sides.

Got to be a decent make , not changing them every race , hence the reason wanting gkn, j&r seem to have a few mixed reviews , they do look to be cheap though

I have J&R on mine too and they seem fine.

its more of the price that keeps people happy as Renault ones for the Cup were £250... EACH! In the same category as the Cup bumper splitter.

Discontinued is sad news though...

Maybe best to get someone decent to refurbish your Renault ones

it was a place in Wolverhampton ,ill try and find the receipt .

just get a gkn joint and chuck it on the shaft.
