driveshafts!!!!! best place to get one

looks like my 2001 clio 172 needs a driver side driveshaft.

anyone know where the best place to get one?

Renault, its genuine! Most companys I treid didn't do a pattern part for them, and the ones I did get were wrong!

yeah its a minefield, so many options for ph1 ph2 172, cuo, 182 etc

I got mine replaced by a transmissions specialist but I still have a noise

Best bet is to speak to the cliospares people on here, what's the guys name? someone link it

If you do go to renault, sideways danny told me that they have improved the driveshaft boot clips as they were having issues. So a renalt part would be better.

Yea, the driveshafts have had a bout 3 revisions lol!

yeah, new ones come with flexible rubber boots, not the plastic ones they had from the factory, and also an improved clip which wont break like the original

yeah, i ordered one today from renault bristol.

£110 + vat,
£10 + vat surcharge.

so after exchange £130 inc vat.

but i do have to wait for it to come from france. so 3-5 days.....

got a few prices elsewhere £65 + vat and carriage to get mine rebuilt.

£90 + vat at my local factors but had no stock in whole country.....


so renault was best for me....
