Wow, a year of playing my DS and I didn't think it could get any better.
But, I buy my missus one for Christmas and the wireless link up is absolutely genius, so so easy to set up (even though I have a US DS and she has a UK one, and even the games from different territories don't kick up a fuss), basically didn't have to do anything, they just talk to each other instantly. You don't even need to both own the game in most cases, it downloads the content in seconds and their is no lag at all even though I was playing it without a cartridge, I'm amazed!
I thought playing Mario Kart in the same room was clever, but then I came home and we carried on playing, 10 miles apart and just as simple, we both have wireless houses so we didn't need any extra kit or anything, it just found the network. Her mate in Oxford just got one too so they are going to have a game or two tomorrow.
