Dual widescreen setup

Hi,

What are your thoughts.

I have 2 x HP 20" widescreen monitors and I don't like it, please note this is for office use and not videos or gaming.

It's too wide.

4:3 19" monitors would have been better taking into consideration price, I would have liked 1600x1200.

Any thoughts?

Why do you need dual screen?

I had 3 x 17" TFT's.. was pretty perfect. (none widescreen)
Now only use one, with the other two in the loft

I am asking people how they find their dual screen setups.......

I use them for design work and also general technical help for users, nothing too exciting.

I found mine awesome during Uni.
One window for code, one for web browser, one for e-mail/chat

I use two monitors at work.. one for RDP and one for work. Or if I'm not RDPing, One for mail and one for everything else

ah ok. I use a laptop atm and I sometimes run it dueal screen. Mainly just for the extra space as Daz said really.

we run dual screen at work for video and Photo editing.

very hand when you have multiple images open, and lots of pallettes in CS3

You soon get used to dual screens. I tried it just to see what it was like as I had a spare LCD sat doing nothing. Been running a 22" widescreen and a 17" for ages now and couldn't go back to just one screen unless it was bigger than these combined (2960x1050) I can watch a video full screen and browse fullscreen at the same time.

Dual screen is not the biggy, it's the widescreen I cant get used to, y eyes have to travel so much.

always had 19" 4:3 but this is weird.

I am at home now, 2 x 17" ultrasharp, awesome.

Maybe you're sitting too close? Honestly you will get used to it I'm sure.

young Furry !! I never bothered re-activating my subscription until I got a message from a girl called Natasha or something the other day, coudnt check my messages unless i paid my subscription, so I did.
