ducting hose

i recently replaced the hose between the hot air shield and the air inlet manifold (?) with one from halfords. after being on the car a week, this hose disintegrated, which annoyed me. i dont want to replace it with another halfords one, so can anyone recommend a good place to get replacement ducting hoses (not renault!!).

I bought one the other day from Motorworld and it seems to be quite happy strapped on just under the IK. Im not entirely sure from your description where youre fitting the hose, but I found that running it from underneath the car was as good a point as any for getting lots of cold air onto the IK.

any old motorfactors will have this hose. Question is why the hell do you want it?

chris h if you read my post i said the halfords one which i originally bought disintegrated. that is why i need another one.

yeah I know but all that hose does is pump hot air through the TB all the time, the thermostatice valve is crap it usually seizes.

Leave the hose off and it should go better, or even fit a hose from the front to it.
