dump valve stuck open!

as some of you my know iv had my 172 turbocharged! and just recently the dump valve sticks open after being on boost! iv tryd wd40 but its still doing it! iv also checked the vacume hoses too! any ideas?still goes like stink though! just woundered if it might dammage the turbo?
