dvd player alpine

i have a alpine cva1004 head unit and a mp3 6 disk changer if i was to buy the alpine dvd changer does that work with that head unit and how will it work does it altomaticly read if its a dvd disk?

Should be no prob. and yes it wiil swich between dvd, cd and video-cd.....But you will need a exspansion-box like the KCE-104V
