Dyna-mat

  clio182,capri,defender90
Today I tried to cure a few rattles only to discover that my whole car is covered in dyna-mat floors, boot, doors, quarter and roof.

How much will all that weigh?

Is it worth removing?

Probally wont weigh as much as the tar/ sound deadening renault put in, in patches around the car. If you're not into your music then id tear it all out mate.

Probably remove it to find you have 20 new rattles though and engine noise, exhaust everything will sound louder.

Up to you really.

Down to the owners/drivers opinion at the end of the day

You could have a calm, relaxed drive in it with very little noise but the purrr of the F4R or you could have a screaching rattle bucket of raw power if you strip all the sound deadening off.

A happy medium is the best way IMO if you like both :approve:

If your not getting/ have a sound system then i would definately remove it from the floor and the roof if it has it there. leave the doors though, stop rattles;)
