Monaco Blue 172
Anyone seen the flamer 172 around the Lowestoft area? Not sure if they're a member on here?
Seen it parked on Beccles Road a couple of times and had him behind me (oo err) on the A146 once, he fancied a play but I had my son in the car otherwise I may have obliged (he tells my wife if I do 35 in a 30!)
Also, not sure if anyone local is interested, but my Monaco 172 got ars* ended a few weeks ago and subsequently has been written off (I could have cried). NOTE: This is not a CAT C, it's spares or repairs.
Unless I can find another sharpish so I can keep seats and other bits, I may break it.
I suppose the best bit is that the engine is superb, and can be seen running, matched inlets, remap, cambelt changed at 35k, then I had ALL belts redone in March 2014 at 60k (for my own peace of mind) car is currrently on 70k (paperwork all there supporting).
If driven like a grandad, with decent air in the tyres I could get 50mpg on an airport run (50/55mph). Averaged late 30s on usual driving (obviously less when pushing on!)
If anyone is interested, give me a shout. I could remove engine and sell on eBay for a couple of hundred minimum (cheapest on there at the moment is £319 with no history) but I simply have no time or inclination to do so, and can't be bothered to take to Norwich where the garages are to do so!
I've also got a set of never used alloys re-furbished from Aerocoat. Missing one centrecap refurbed, but I have a spare that probably matches (not checked). I paid £150 for the alloys then £150 to have them done. I'll take £150 for them.
