eBay headlights TYC any good?

In need of some headlights due to sunburn and not to bothered about sanding and polishing etc has anyone on here bought these off eBay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/321771394814

So, you can either spend £20 and get the stock ones cleared.
Or spend £50 and slap in some cheap Chinese jobs which'll probably not fit right?

I've bought these. They're fine. Well packaged so arrived in one piece. No issues fitting other than itz tight behind the left one due to the battery. Replaced some badly fogged ones that were beyond saving.

I have just read story's of people polishing them and it only last so long before having to do it again so thought new ones would be better.

Found a Quixx headlight kit for a tenner on eBay so may give that a good I suppose to like you say keep original ones in.

If you do a quick, poor job on them, yes, they'll mist up in no time.
THen again, so would the new ones.
So long as you polish the originals right back to a gleamy finish, they'll be good.

It's the loss of the UV coating that f***s them. You need to seal them up with something resistant after polishing or they'll go bad fast.

The ones on HOU were beyond saving, despite multiple attempts.

Yeah I noticed the Quixx kit has a lens sealer which most others don't.

I got these ones mate, they fit perfectly and made the car look 100x better, rather have a brand new set of taiwan copys that fit and function as they should then spending ages trying to get the originals in better shape
