Before anyone kicks off i'm not allowed to post in the ebay forum.
I need some advice.
Last week I was gutted, I missed out on some Turinis off ebay coz I was outbid at the last minute. A couple of days later I got a second chance offer. I e-mailed the bloke asking for further pictures before I went ahead and he said thats fine. He didnt get back to me so I emailed him again last nite but no pics and it was ending tonight. In the end I decided to go for it and just done a buy it now for the offer and then paid through paypal. About 5 minutes later I got an e-mail off the bloke saying he gave me the second chance offer and someone else and the someone else got in before me and that the wheels were already sold. He said he contacted ebay yesterday to take the item down but they didn't act. Why couldn't he of informed me yesterday? He obviously knew I was interested.
Firstly is it possible to give a second chance offer to two people?
Secondly he still hasn't replied to my message back...
"This better not be some kind of joke...I've just paid you £251.67 through paypal."
What is my standing on getting this money back? Can I stop the transaction now or is it too late?
Sounds a bit of a scam to me. I'm very P!ssed off.
