I heard they are quite good at reducing MPG and make them run smoother from 2 peps that have had them. Maybe you notice it more on older cars rather than new.

I had one on my 16v and it was a waste of time - I was convinced it gave more mpg but took it off and was still getting the same! My dad has one on his van and says the same. Do a search, its constantly being "debated"....

Oh, the fact it sounds like a pikey slurpping a maccy ds coke doesnt help matters either.....
